Mission Statement:Everyone has something to gain when it comes to learning to play a musical instrument. I, of course, believe that the piano is the absolute best way to be introduced to that experience. My goal is to make the process fun and engaging while also progressing and developing each student as a musician. My personal experiences have helped me to become a teacher that is positive, encouraging, and striving to show every student that music can be a powerful and fun part of their lives. |

Payment & Attendance
- Payment is expected at the first lesson of each month for the entirety of said month. I will provide an invoice via email with specific dates of expected lessons and payment due.
- There will be no charge for the first excused absence. An excused absence means that I was given at least 24 hours notice, either via phone call or email. Subsequent absences will result in being charged.
- You will always be charged for lessons missed with less than 24 hours notice.
- If you are aware that your child will miss a lesson or more during the coming month, I will need to be notified at least 1 week prior to invoice time to avoid charges. The earlier notice I get, the greater chance that I’ll be able to reschedule with you.
- Lessons cancelled due to inclement weather will be made-up. If it isn’t possible to schedule a make-up lesson, you will be credited the lesson on the next invoice.
Studio Rules for Students
- No chewing gum!
- Keep your nails trimmed. Proper technique requires that pianists have short nails.
- Don’t wear lots of rings or bracelets. They can be distracting and interfere with your playing.
- Practice! I know everyone’s busy with lots of other activities, but try to practice every day, even if it’s just for ten minutes.
- Speak up! The more I know about what you like and what you don’t like, the more fun your lessons will be.
